BAMIDELE FARUQ, Age 15
Bamidele Faruq lives with his grandmother in Fakore village, facing hardship and uncertainty from a young age. With his mother gone and his father unable to provide, Bamidele and his sister have depended on their grandmother and the kindness of others just to get by. School was a struggle—teachers rarely showed up, and real learning felt out of reach. Everything changed when Bamidele joined Bramble. For the first time, he had caring mentors, new clothes, and the chance to truly learn. He’s discovered a love for arithmetic, learned to use a computer, and picked up practical skills like barbing and phone repair. His grandmother is proud and relieved to see his progress. Bamidele dreams of becoming a pilot. With your support through this scholarship, he can keep learning, growing, and working toward a brighter future.
