INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION 2021

It is common knowledge that Education is basic human right. It is a valuable tool for raising responsible citizens in our ever changing world.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to a global learning disruption of unprecedented scale and caused certain things to change in the way education is delivered. Across the globe, education systems opt for E-learning which even after a full year, has not benefitted school goers in rural area.

According to National Statistic, 48 percent of the total population of Nigerians lives in rural area. This is one of the reasons why we believe it is extremely important to support educators in rural Nigeria.

Educators in rural communities needs to be trained to leverage the available resources in their environment raw materials to facilitate learning.

Times like this demand deep and meaningful collaborations between educators and stakeholders across the country. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that every child is educated and no one is deprived of lifelong learning opportunities. It is time to build a more inclusive, safe and sustainable society.
